Functional Capacity Assessments

A functional capacity assessment is used as a tool to capture your needs and level of function holistically, to identify `solutions and recommendations to help you achieve your goals, and to ensure you can receive the support you require.

Minor Home Modifications and
Assistive Technology

At Building Resilience OT, we support you to live safely and independently through practical home modifications and assistive technology solutions. We assess how your environment can better support your daily activities and recommend adjustments tailored to your needs. This may include things like rails, ramps, seating, or low-cost technology to make everyday tasks easier and safer.

Therapy and Capacity Building Intervention

We can work with you on your identified goals to increase your independence, safety and function with your daily, weekly and monthly tasks and routine. This can include meal preparation and skill development, daily and weekly routine development, etc.

Sensory Assessment and Intervention

At Building Resilience OT, we offer sensory assessments and support tailored to each person’s unique needs. We help you understand how your body and brain respond to the world around you and find ways to feel more comfortable and in control. Our approach is strengths-based, and led by your goals.

Emotional Regulation Support and Intervention

At Building Resilience OT, we provide personalised support to help you understand and manage emotional regulation in everyday life. Our approach focuses on supporting the nervous system to build a sense of safety, stability, and resilience. We work collaboratively to identify practical strategies that align with your needs, preferences, and environment.
